IN MEMORY OF MY LOVING WIFE, BONNIE DALY

It’s with great sadness that I share with my worldwide audience the passing of my wife Bonnie, on November 11, 2017. As so many of you know her on a personal basis, or by the many references I’ve made to her over the years in my presentations, I’ve elected to dedicate this newsletter issue exclusively to her.

I was 16 and she was 15 when we first met. That totals 52 years of our relationship, and this coming December 27 would have marked our 48th Wedding Anniversary. While I am heartbroken with her passing, I am grateful for the magical life we have shared. We were blessed with two healthy children, Melissa and Adam. They have gone on to adulthood and are happily married. Along the way, we were blessed with two grandsons, Malcolm and Wyatt, which we have enjoyed immensely. Over the years Bonnie and I have seen the world and are delighted with the many friends we have worldwide.

I’ve included here some photos of Bonnie in her many joyous states of life. Our life journey included living in 27 homes, as I pursued an ambitious entrepreneurial path. Bonnie was the consummate support partner in those pursuits. While she allowed me to be in the spotlight, she was the real star. As you all are aware, I am an intense, passionate human being. And, as our close friends often referred to Bonnie, she was “Saint Bonnie” in putting up with my many antics.

Her last year was indeed a rough one. In early February, Bonnie was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She fought it with everything she had and with the finest of medical support that could be garnered. In this battle, she showed me that she is the strongest person I’ve ever met (Ironman Jack would have much earlier thrown in the towel). In this last year for Bonnie, she was able to enjoy a great three generation cruise as well as see our son Adam marry his own Melissa. These highlights were worth the fight, as she often shared with me. The week before she passed I ran the NYC Marathon in her honor, raising monies for the Jimmy V Foundation for cancer research. She was tremendously proud of the effort, and was overwhelmed with all the financial support given in donations to this cause. We are hopeful that someday soon a cure is found, so others can escape this horrible cancer curse. Donations can still be made through this my fundraising page.

I am a better man as a result of having Bonnie in my life. I promised to make her proud of me on the go forward, and I’m anxious to get back helping people and companies to heightened excellence.

Services for Bonnie on the West Coast will be at Heritage Park on Friday, December 29th at noon. The address 34400 Old Golden Lantern, Dana Point, CA 92629. In late May 2018 we will hold a second service at the beach in New Jersey. As that day approaches, more details will be provided.

With gratitude,

Jack
